Wow, what a way to end a year. And man, this year went by fast. I can't believe it's the last installment of my calendar! By far, this was the best calendar ever. I thoroughly enjoyed every vivid picture and quote by famous woman from all genres. And to think I got this calendar for $1 at Target. Goes to show the best things aren't always the most expensive! I only hope I can find a good one for the coming year. I haven't been successful yet...wish me luck!

2010...It had its ups and downs but over all it was good year, here's hoping the new year is even better. Come on 2011!!! Happy New Year All! I wish you all much love, peace and joy! =) Have fun and be safe.

A Sergeant, A Humvee and Me

Today I had the distinct honor of riding in an official United States Army Humvee.
Dude…it was sooo cool! lol

My job was having a fund raiser for our troops and a few of the US Army’s finest were able to come out and join us. They assisted in the fund raiser, took pictures, answered questions, hung out with us and showed us their vehicles. It was amazing. I was filled with such patriotism and thankfulness. I am in awe of those courageous individuals that serve our country. I cannot thank them enough. They have my utmost respect and always my support.

I’d like to give a special shout out to Sergeant Chris Avgerinos (forgive me; I forgot to ask if Chris was spelled with a C or a K). He’s the one in the pictures below who took a coworker and me for a ride in that beautiful Humvee.
As I was taking pictures he asked me if I was going to post these on YouTube or something and I said nope, maybe my blog. He asked for my web address, and I gladly gave it to him. I hope he sees this…Told ya! =) lol

Thank you Sergeant Avgerinos you have my heart, as do all the troops. I heart them. =)

September Love

It sure is...good or bad it is an adventure. Especially when it's true love...there is a difference. =)

This is also my birthday month! I'm not going to lie, it was tough this year. In my mind I had thoughts of where I would be in my life at this age and I'm not there. After some soul searching I realized things change and you have to keep an open mind. Maybe what you thought was supposed to be isn't, maybe it's not meant to be now or ever. So I've chosen to throw out everything I thought was supposed to be and embrace whatever comes to be. All I need is to be happy, healthy and loved. And I am. What a great birthday I had...tons of thanks go to my wonderful family and friends whom without their loving support I could not be me. Thank you my loves...thank you.

Peace Love and Confessions

So, I have been a busy little bee. But, I also must admit I have been a very naughty procrastinating little bee-otch. I am sooo behind on my post processing it isn't even funny. I've been to such cool places, taken awesome pics and haven't even processed them yet. I'm like 3-4 events behind which doesn't sound like much but when one event alone is 900 photos, trust me that's a lot. This isn't even including past events that I didn't even finish with. I am so ashamed. How did I let this happen you ask? Apparently, very easily.
I can't help it my friends, I am not one to really just sit down and just do it when it comes to my art. I must be inspired. It must call to me. I must be in the mood. lol I am a true artist!

Well what are you gonna do...it'll get done as it gets done. I just finished my Doylestown Car Show group. I made the mistake of telling my partner in crime to which he replied; "Dayum, you just finished Doylestown?!"*sigh* Yes, I just finished Doylestown. I'm shaking my iron fist at him as I type this. Girrrr.

I'll leave you with this, I was out shopping over the weekend and I bought a new pair of Converse AllStars...take a look. Could they BE anymore me?!?!! Seriously! I heart them. =)
